Fastway couriers, Australia’s largest independent courier company, will make online selling and buying even easier with its new Parcel Connect service.
Parcel Connect will take the headache out of the send, collect and return process through its national network of local retailers.
Using the service, sellers will be able to drop off their parcels at a their nearest Parcel Connect agent, chosen and arranged online. Buyers will be able to arrange a collection or return with their own local Parcel Connect agent.
“At Fastway, we consistently monitor global online retailing trends and assess the value of our services according to market demand and our customer’s expectations,” said Richard Thame, CEO of Fastway Couriers.
According to a report by Telstra, today’s customer is demanding greater choice, value and convenience. Deeper collaboration with customers and dynamic services are emerging trends in the consumer market according to the report.
Mr Thame said “we realised early on that e-commerce would revolutionise the courier industry. This is why we have, and continue to, operate a responsive, customer centric business strategy that embraces the latest technology and invests in a range of innovative services that suit the needs of online retailers and their customers.”
While Parcel Connect already represents a significant development for the e-commerce industry, Mr Thame said Fastway will be taking steps to deliver further innovations to the market.
