Outlets Increase Productivity

This week we won our 6th rugby game for the season! It was great to get back into the winners circle after getting belted by Eastwood last week. Honestly, it has been a tough season for us with season ending injuries and quite simply players who are physically smaller.

Evening texting has replaced evening sexing!

It is 9pm on Sunday night and Dancing With The Stars is over. Blair is voted out – I think because he is not from the Channel 7 stable but that is just my opinion. Before I head off to sleep, it is time to write my Monday blog for Dynamic Business. But that is OK, my wife will do her Suduko for 45 minutes, so I even have time to even check my emails!

How Not To Have A Good Night’s Sleep

Ok last week, apparently I wrote a terrible blog! Terrible in the way it was written and for many people offensive. And while I tried to dig myself out of a hole, it didn’t seem to help.

Julia Gillard is a Bad Role Model

Not surprising this week’s blog is about our new PM. But not about whether she will be good or bad. I will leave that for the political pundits.

Who Said Women Have Empathy?

After the decades of participating in training, it has been drilled into me that women usually have greater empathy than men. Females will outstrip men’s ability in putting themselves in a prospects or employees shoes – especially when talking about family issues and challenges. Well Mr Trainer I now beg to differ, as does one of my friends.

Today: Eat Lunch! And Get Outside.

While relaxing on my balcony and making the most of a rain-free day, I sat eating my lunch and reading the Sunday Telegraph, I stumbled across an article by Brittany Stack: Aussies are working longer hours than ever: Dining al desko. She shared research, conducted by Mark McCrindle whom I respect greatly for his research accuracy, which identified:

Why don’t we say ‘No’ more often?

Sorry regular readers for missing Monday’s blog but I have just finished 6 of the busiest days of my life. We have just finished the national fitness convention called Filex. It was huge with over 2200 attendees and I presented, all day Thursday and Friday and for 3 hours Saturday and Sunday – I know that is only 4 days but I was preparing the other 2 days.

What do you do on a lazy Sunday afternoon?

What do you do on a lazy Sunday afternoon, read the Sunday paper of course! And this week end once I reminisced over the contribution the ANZACS made to Australian history and then ploughed through the analysis of the Melbourne Storm debacle, I found an article called: ‘We’d pay to do less work.’

Change the Work Day To Change Your Health

On Friday morning, I jumped on QF401 to Melbourne. For those readers who are unaware, this flight leaves Sydney at 6am. Which got me thinking: when does a work day start and end for these people?

“No time” Is Not An Excuse To Improve Your Health

But this is about time management. I had busy days – like you. I know the importance of exercise in my life. I know my productivity and clear thinking increases when I have exercised in the morning. I had no choice.

Is It OK To Check Your Messages Before Making Love?

Blackberry envy has replaced penis envy for many men. Men see their degree of importance is based on how many messages they get or how often they need to check their messages. Their personal status is determined by how often, how many, when and where they respond to their emails, texts, update Facebook or send a Tweet.

The Biggest Loser Sucks!

Within the community and even the fitness industry there is divided opinion on whether the Biggest Loser TV show encourages people to exercise or scares them to their next cup cake and couch session! Personally, I love the show! I think it is unreal how we see the roller coaster road that the contestants go […]
