Group buying website OfferMe and Online Media Group (OMG), which operates Business.com.au, have combined to help Australian retailers capitalise on a fast-growing online market.

OfferMe, known for its integrated group buying and online store platform, has reported its retailers’ online stores are now generating more sales than do their daily group buying deals.

OfferMe, the first company to bring Groupon’s group coupon buying model to Australia, announced that it has had to look outside Australia for investors, but is on the verge of finalising a Series A round of substantial venture funding.
