South Australian company Zarloc will showcase the ROSS system, its award-winning employee rostering solution, to an anticipated 7,500 visitors as part of the Future of Retail Technology showcase at Retail 2010, to be held at Sydney Exhibition Centre from 20-22 September.
The ROSS team will demonstrate how to create rosters that save staffing costs by accurately matching shifts to sales demand. Also on show will be Zarloc’s latest innovation, its latest retail time and attendance solutions, including ROSS O’Clock, a pin-in/pin-out bundy time clock that feeds information directly into the ROSS system.
Zarloc CEO Rachael Skinner says that the ROSS system is ideal for retail businesses, including restaurants, hotels and supermarkets.
“ROSS helps a retail or restaurant manager to create the most cost-efficient rosters by matching shifts to sales demand hour-by-hour,” Ms Skinner explains. “It’s easy to calculate an accur ate cost projection that matches sales data to calculate performance measures. You are guided through the system to make critical business decisions.
“We have saved one small restaurant group alone more than $100,000 a year in costs using ROSS.”
ROSS makes it easy to communicate rosters and share critical information with staff via SMS. Once the week is finished, ROSS exports time and attendance data to accounting packages like MYOB
