Current saving a weekly average of 315,000 litres of water a week, waterless car washing and detailing franchise Ecowash Mobile today won the 2007 Australian Business Award in the ‘Enterprise in its industry’ category.
The award acknowledges the automotive industry franchise system as an industry leader and honours its contributions to the industry as a whole.
Ecowash Mobile is estimated to have saved more than 26 million litres of water since its inception in 2004. Since starting out as a two car operation it has branched into seven countries including the United States, Middle East and France with 42 franchisees in Australia alone.
"The award is great acknowledgment of the growth of the franchise, to have branched into seven countries from where we started is very satisfying," said Managing Director Jim Cornish, who unveiled a new franchise in Las Vegas two weeks ago.
"It also repays the dedication of our team to providing the best possible customer service."
