Tracy Bialek, Director of Ripple Products, has today won the Australian Government Business Innovation Award at the 2007 Victorian Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
The Australian Government Business Innovation Award category recognises business women who use innovation to commercialise new products and/or services.
Congratulating Tracy Bialek, Small Business Minister Fran Bailey said Tracy Bialek founded her business in 2004 to communicate the water conservation message through products that facilitate behavioural change.
“The company’s innovative products are designed with key environmental messages to promote the reduction of water consumption by individuals,” Fran Bailey said.
“Ripple Products’ clients include government departments, water companies, large corporates and environmental agencies.”
Fran Bailey presented the award on behalf of the Australian Government at a luncheon at Melbourne’s Crown Tower Palladium.
"The women receiving awards today have a unique and innovative approach to business and I congratulate them all for the leadership and inspiration they provide," Fran Bailey said.
“The Australian Government is proud to have been associated with such a prestigious awards program since its inception.
"Women make a remarkable, but too often unrecognised contribution to all aspects of Australian life and business and it is vital that we acknowledge and reward their achievements."
Fran Bailey said the state economy was greatly enriched by the commitment and success of this year’s award winners.
