Broadband good for small business
Small businesses are set to be big winners from the National Broadband Network (NBN), according to Jaye Radisich, CEO of the Council of Small Business of Australia.
“Broadband will help facilitate solutions to everyday problems that small businesses face,” she said.
“The NBN will help small businesses by promoting workplace flexibility which in turn will provide savings for businesses and better work-life balance for staff,” she added.
Radisich believes that the NBN will allow small businesses to be able to effectively compete with the larger corporations on a global scale.
Radisich said that she looks forward to working with the Government and the NBN Co to support small businesses and help them to engage with online and digital strategies as the NBN is rolled out.
