Stephen Bell commenced his career in the financial services industry in 1997, spending 10 years in partnership building what quickly became the Australian Financial Services’ second largest financial planning firm.
Achieving great respect within the industry for his strategic thinking, innovative approach and solutions-driven outcomes, Stephen launched Logiro in 2006 with a mission to provide full service planning at an affordable price.
Based on “full circle thinking”, Logiro encapsulates a three-step approach to facilitating client’s financial goals providing clarity, strategy and growth.
Growing the staff in the Brisbane office to nine in just three years, Bell expanded Logiro nationally in 2008, opening an office in Melbourne.
Having built a successful business model of his own, the financial planning entrepreneur saw an opportunity to assist other businesses in improving productivity and better servicing clients, so began developing his next project, software service Evolve Logic.
A customisation of XPLAN, a software tool used by more than half of Australia’s financial planning firms, Evolve Logic enhances businesses’ existing software systems by building in bespoke processes and workflows designed to better suit the individual organisation’s needs.
The ‘business-in-a-box’ model is the first service of its kind – built by financial planners, for financial planners.
Evolve Logic dramatically reduces the margin for error and the time taken to complete a wide range of administrative tasks, meaning businesses can more efficiently service their clients and in some instances improve profitability by over 50 percent.
The Evolve Logic model also allows businesses to generate detailed productivity reports and create their own professional marketing material. Other features include making greater use of barcode document-merging system in a step towards the holy grail of the ‘paperless office’.Stephen is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Diploma of Financial Planning. Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Maths) and is an Authorised Representative of Charter Financial Planning Ltd and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
