Dynamic Business’s Tech Tuesdays column is dedicated to the businesses and products that have made great contributions to the tech industry, are pushing the boundaries of technology, and are redefining the future.
For this week’s edition, we’ve compiled a list of notable Human Resources innovations that can really help you manage people and processes effectively in 2022 and beyond.
triiyo
triiyo uses technology to enable organisations to prioritise the employee experience during every work-life transition that occurs in the workplace (parental leave, mental health leave, divorce, retirement, long-term sick, bereavement and menopause).
The platform takes a humanistic approach that supports both managers and employees via automated, tailored Journeys written by experts that provide real-time nudges and informative outreach for a highly engaging, personalised and supportive experience.
Each platform provides Community Channels to create social capital for like-minded individuals; a Work Buddy tool to stay connected and maintain a sense of belonging, and expertly curated content to educate and empower.
By guiding managers, their work and cognitive load are reduced and the risk of discrimination is mitigated, whilst enabling organisations to enhance their EVP and be competitive in the current climate of talent shortages by caring for their people better during the times that matter.

Deel
Deel is the payroll platform transforming the way companies are hiring and expanding overseas. With the rise in remote workers over the past several years, Deel helps companies hire, onboard, pay, and manage teams – employees or contractors – whatever their size, wherever they are.
Deel manages onboarding, contracts, expense management, benefits, payroll and built-in compliance for your international teams, eliminating the need to create an entirely new entity. Whether it’s a contractor or full-time employee, the wide range of contract types allows Deel to fit into a range of situations with quick solutions.
The biggest challenge companies face when hiring remote workers across the world is compliance. Fast-growing Aussie businesses like Lyre’s Spirits Co, Zoomo, and Quantium choose Deel because it streamlines the global hiring process by taking care of labour, tax, and data protection laws for over 150 countries. The platform operates a SaaS subscription model at $49 USD per contractor per month and $500 USD for full-time employees.

Shift Pulse (Deputy)
With Shift Pulse, staff can provide insightful feedback at the end of each shift so employers can address any issues — and keep their teams happy and engaged.
In January 2022, Deputy rolled out a new Shift Pulse feature, which allows workers to rate how they’re feeling at the end of their shift on a sliding scale, from “happy” to “stressed”, as well as leave an anonymous comment for their managers to respond to.
This allows for the creation of mentally healthy workplaces and ultimately improves productivity and reduces staff turnover.
