A new website has launched aimed at professionals and job seekers wanting to balance their work and personal life.
Lifestyle Careers (www.lifestylecareers.com.au), launched by entrepreneur Leah Gibbs, is a flexible online job board that helps job seekers and professionals find the perfect job suited to their needs. With a few clicks, job seekers are given access to a listing of flexible work opportunities and a direct connection to flexible employers.
According to Gibbs, Lifestyle Careers is unique because it attracts job seekers who are “committed or open to a flexible work schedule and willing to work with you in less traditional ways.”
Job seekers register for an account and fill out a detailed personal profile specifying their professional experience and needs for flexibility. Once registered job seekers can search and apply directly to flexible jobs and also be head hunted by employers.
Gibbs believes that in such a tough climate, it is important to be able to offer job seekers and employers the opportunity to find flexible work and workers that suits their personal and professional needs.
