Unified Communications vendor ShoreTel has launched a video competition encouraging current and potential customers to tell their best ShoreTel story through a short video (3 minutes max). The videos will be showcased at contest.shoretel.com and the top video entries will win some really cool prizes including a 52” Sony HDTV! The contest runs until April 30th and voting begins March 1st but customers can continue to submit videos up to April 15th. Judging begins April 15th. Winners are announced April 30th.
Judges will pick the winners based on creativity, originality, humor, inspiration and most fan votes. The People’s Choice Award will be solely determined by fan votes.
Videos can be captured on webcams, cell phones, mini-digital video recorders and easily uploaded to the contest site. Acceptable video file types include: AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, MPEG, FLV, 3GP, and 3G2.
What are the prizes?
- Grand Prize – 52″ Sony Bravia LCD HDTV (value $3,000) or Amazon Gift Card
- Runner-up – 14” Sony VAIO Laptop Computer (value $1,000) or Amazon Gift Card
- People’s Choice – Sony Cybershot Digital Camera (value $500) or Amazon Gift Card
Also, every video submitted receives a ShoreTel Messenger Bag ($35 value). The bag will be shipped within 4-6 weeks of video submission to the contact information the customer lists on their entry form.
