Tinder style match-making technology is set to take the Australian employment market by storm with the launch of technology driven job marketplace Likeajob.
Using a unique algorithm and targeted technology to match candidates with prospective employers based on skills, experience, location and lifestyle, each applicant or employer will be given a percentage match via a ‘Likeometer,’ allowing people to choose to move forward with the relationship, or go their separate ways.
Chris Hansen, Director and Founder of LikeaJob said “we wanted to create a system where employers can post their ad for free at no charge and with no obligation, and both parties know how they stack up from the outset by ranking them with a percentage and showing how their future could look on the Likeometer. There may be no such thing as a perfect 100 per cent match, but we come close in identifying the top contenders.”
Since launching, 6,500 users have registered with Likeajob to test their new match making formula with 1 in 5 job applicants achieving a mutual match.
Mr Hansen said “currently advertising for a role can cost anywhere from $280, right up to several thousand dollars should you use a recruiter. Our Likeometer system qualifies the best candidates and provides a brief profile snapshot of each of your job matches for free.
“There are plenty of jobs to like, and great quality candidates to be found,” said Mr Hansen.
