Drake International is hosting a competition this year to find The Ultimate Job in all major Australian capital cities, with the search beginning in Sydney today.
Drake International, an international recruitment and training company, is attempting to find The Ultimate Job in each major capital city in Australia by running 3-month campaigns in each city.
Each city will pick its own Ultimate Job using an expert panel chosen from the state’s leading companies and a variety of social media technology. Once the panel has picked its favourite ten jobs, the public will be asked to votes via text/SMS on their favourite job from the list, with the winning company being decided by the highest number of votes from the public.
Sydney’s expert panel includes CEO Fremantle Media Ian Hogg, Business Editor of The Australian Andrew Main, 2 Day FM Radio Entertainer Geoff Field and CEO Mission Australia Toby Hall.
Drake International will be raising funds for Mission Australia throughout the campaign. Mission Australia will receive revenue raised by public texting for The Ultimate Job, 30 percent of job placement fees as well as the money raised from the Gala Event where The Ultimate Job will be announced.
The Gala Evening will take place on 25 October 2010 and will announce both the winning Company of The Ultimate Job and the winning Employee who will be placed into The Ultimate Job.
