Skype has announced the winners of the first Skype for Business Competition.
The month-long competition launched to celebrate the new look Skype for Business portal was open to companies in the Asia Pacific, EMEA and Americas regions. The winning companies were able to demonstrate how they used Skype to save time and money and stay ahead.
Entrants were judged on: creativity and originality of submission and use of Skype, range of Skype features used and geographic spread of Skype usage.
The winners in the Asia Pacfic included: Lighthouse Independent Media, Singapore, RareJob, Japan and Rusty Surfwear, Australia.
As a global Surfwear & Apparel Brand that operates in over 15 countries world wide, Australian based Rusty Surfwear, demonstrated how they used Skype to not only chat with colleagues all over the world, but save money on the cost of domestic and international travel, whilst increasing productivity.
