In the lead up to the US Climate Change Conference, climate change, sustainability and becoming carbon neutral is at the forefront of most government discussions and business plans. In order to encourage and facilitate such discussion, global environmental group GreenBizCheck is conducting a national search for Australia’s next Eco Champion.
According to GreenBizCheck an eco champion is “a business leader who is publicly taking action and not just talking about protecting our natural resources.”
GreenBizCheck is conducting the Eco Champion program to reward and encourage business leaders to talk less and act more. Every six months, a business leader will be awarded with a special Eco Champion prize. The first prize to be given away will be two night’s accommodation at Paperbark Camp in NSW, valued at $680.
All approved nominated Eco Champions will all receive one-year free GreenBizCheck office certification.
