Four retail companies named as state winners in the 17th annual Telstra Business Awards have won high praise from Telstra Business Group managing director, Deena Shiff, for their productive use of technology in their operations.
Edible Blooms and The Trademan from South Australia, Sea to Summit from Western Australia and Brighton Hardware from Tasmania have been recognised in the awards program as winners for their respective states.
Each business has used online technology, mobile phones and enhanced communication technologies to promote their businesses and win new customers.
Shiff said Telstra was committed to helping the retail trade and other small and medium-sized businesses succeed by providing them with business grade tools and guidance for today’s challenging and ever-changing environment.
“We understand the unique needs of retail businesses and can help them to succeed by providing services and solutions, as well as by working in partnership with them to help their business thrive into the future.”
These businesses will now progress to the national Telstra Business Awards to be held in Sydney on August 20.
