Online job ads rise for second straight month
Online job ads rose for the second straight month in September, confirming an economic recovery is underway, according to the Olivier Job Index.
The Index found that online job advertisements increased by 3.58 percent in September, an encouraging sign for the local job market says Olivier Group director Bob Olivier.
“This confirms a solid spring upwards in line with the season and every good reason to believe the long anticipated “U curve” is forming supporting a trend of continued recovery in the job
market,” he said.
However he said we should not get “carried away as we’re still highly depending upon an improving global economic outlook.”
