LivingSocial is leading the daily deals market in unique browsers terms for the second month in a row, according to the latest Nielsen Netview results.
In July, LivingSocial widening the gap from its nearest competitor by 70 percent: from a lead of 153,000 unique visitors in June to 217,000 in July.
Via its two sites, LivingSocial.com.au and JumpOnIt.com, it attracted a total of 1,263,000 unique visitors in July, beating out Catch of the Day at 1,049,000 unique browsers.
LivingSocial.com.au alone attracted 1,063,000 unique browsers – making it the number one daily deals site for the month.
LivingSocial CEO Colin Fabig said the business has been quick to respond to marketing demand since launching, creating two new products “LivingSocial Families and LivingSocial Escapes and teaming with Fairfax Digital, eBay and top Australian and international brands. In July, LivingSocial and Jump On It sold a record breaking, 78,070 pairs of Havianas in one deal,” he said.
“Our rapid growth is a result of hard work matching consumers with the best localised deals on offer. Merchants come to us because we offer a low cost and low risk option for attracting a new customer, looking to fall in love with their business.”
