Hairdressers around Australia now have access to more personalised training programs, with DCI Education offering training over a range of platforms.
DCI (Dream, Connect, Inspire) Education, a hairdressing education institute, offers individualised teaching platforms to its students, moving away from traditionally standardised industry practices.
The aim is to improve industry standards which have been detrimentally affected by traditionally training practices, according to founder of DCI Education Dario Cotroneo.
“As hairdressers we acknowledge that every client’s needs are different, but we don’t accommodate that every hairdresser learns differently,” Mr Cotroneo explained.
DCI Education courses are offered in-salon, at the DCI Institute, or via online learning.
Adapting to an online format is a revolution for an industry that, for a large part, hasn’t adopted technology as an integral part of operations, affirms Mr Cotroneo.
“DCI is design and technology driven, so we love the idea that hairdressers can now use the internet for education anywhere and anytime.”
“DCI ONLINE gives the industry access to step by step videos to watch how and when you please,” Mr Cotroneo explained.
Over the past 12 months over 650 hairdressers have been taught using DCI Education’s multi-platform training programs.
