David Moffatt resigns from Telstra
Telstra Consumer Group Managing Director David Moffatt has resigned from Telstra, after almost a decade with the company.
Telstra Chief Executive Officer David Thodey today announced Moffatt’s resignation and thanked him for contribution to the company.
“I would like to personally thank David for his contribution and unwavering commitment to Telstra and I look forward to working with him as we manage this transition,” Mr Thodey said.
“David has successfully played a major role at Telstra in building a world-leading, fully integrated, consumer retail business. He has been a champion of the development of Telstra’s people, driven our customer-centric business model based on Market Based Management and was the major force behind the creation of our dynamic, consumer retail experience T[life]™.”
Mr Moffatt will remain in the role for the next six months or until a suitable successor is in place.
Thodey said now is the time for a new generation of leaders to be given the opportunity to take the business into its next phase of growth.
