A new campaign launched by the government will ban telemarketers from harassing residents, and all you need to do is to register your phone and/or mobile number.
And the good news is, registration is free.
Registration can be done by completing a form online at http://www.donotcall.gov.au.
Registrations can also be made by phone and lodging a form through Australia Post.
