Anybody with an internet connection can now register an Australian company online within 20 minutes thanks to a new online service launched recently.
RegisterACompany.com.au allows businesses to get an Australian Company Number (ACN) and Australian Securities and Investment Commission Certificate of Registration without leaving the office.
The simple-to-use website collects any necessary information, processes payments, then provides the newly allocated ACN.
The tool aims to dramatically reduce red tape associated with starting a business. “Forming a company used to be a costly and confusing exercise, we hope to change all that,” says site director, Chris Parker.
