Telstra’s iPhone 4 launch shows that Apple’s iPhone 4 has well and truly reached the mainstream as Telstra’s PR team serves up Masterchef’s host and former contestants on the launch night.
Telstra plan to launch the iPhone 4 alongside a ‘party’ hosted by Masterchef critic, judge and co-host Matt Preston, MasterChef Series 2 winner Adam Liaw and runner-up Callum Hann will be on-hand to “wow” the crowd lining up to purchase the new iPhone on the stroke of midnight. Joining this star-studded culinary line-up are popular former MasterChef Series 2 finalists Marion Grasby,Alvin Quah, Courtney Roulston and Matthew Caldicott.
Telstra Consumer Executive Director, Rebekah O’Flaherty said the George Street midnight launch would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for iPhone and MasterChef lovers alike.
“Telstra is reuniting some of the nation’s favourite former MasterChef Series 2 contestants and we’re looking forward to rewarding our loyal iPhone fans with the opportunity to get up close and personal with their cooking heroes.

The Telstra iPhone 4 Masterchef launch will take place at the Telstra Store – 400 George Street, Sydney on Thursday 29th of July from 8pm.
Telstra continues to ignore business customers wanting an iPhone 4 by not offering the iPhone 4 on Telstra business cap plans, Telstra have been approached for comment on this issue and this article will be updated when information is forthcoming.
