St George Bank has continued its support of small business by running the second annual Small Business Mentor Program, together with business coaching organization, ActionCOACH.
The mentor program aims to provide businesses with an opportunity to gain practical advice on how to achieve business success, covering everything from business planning, recruitment and time management, to marketing and improving cash flow.
St George Bank’s head of small business banking, Brett MacKinlay, said the program is already garnering strong support from the business community, as many small businesses are looking for ways to get their business through the global financial crisis.
“There are many people with great small business ideas who are daunted by the current economic environment and confidence levels have been hit hard…there are still many great opportunities out there and its our job to help get these opportunities off the ground and turn them into reality.”
The program is open to both existing small business owners, and individuals looking to start their own small business.
