LogMeIn iPad App lets users access PCs or Macs remotely

LogMeIn’s iPad app lets owners of Apple’s new iPad tablet access both Windows and OS X based computers remotely anywhere with a Wi-Fi or 3G internet connection.

LogMeIn iPadLogMeIn for the iPad is available from the iTunes App store, with the latest update of LogMeIn Ignition including full support for the Apple iPad, expanding support beyond the iPhone and iPod touch possible previously. Giving users complete access to their office and home computers, including Windows-based PCs and OS X-based Macs.

According to Matt Fleming Senior Manager at LogMeIn, Australia and New Zealand, new owners can download an Ignition product which has been specifically designed for the device as soon as the first iPad hits our stores.

“With this latest version of LogMeIn Ignition, customers can use their iAnything – Pad, Phone, Pod – to instantly and securely access their digital lives, from wherever they are in the world,” said Andrew Burton, Vice President, Access and Management, LogMeIn.

“Whether it’s accessing an important file back in the office while you are camping in the woods, or showing off the latest picture of the kids you have at home, the iPad with LogMeIn Ignition is the perfect combination for keeping you productive at work and at play.” he said.

LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch connects to desktops and laptops running LogMeIn Free or LogMeIn Pro2. The app is available as a free update to current Ignition for iPhone and iPod touch users.  Additional information is available at www.LogMeIn.com/iphone.
