Australian SMB owners can take part in discussions about developments in IT, with the Australian Business Forum hosting iTmatters 2010.
The conference, taking place in Melbourne during October, will explore issues affecting all aspects of the electronic medium, from e-commerce and web traffic to online, web and digital broadcasting. Additionally, the conference with look at the current policy, debates and developments around the “information economy” of the SMB sector.
The conference will offer SMB the opportunity to learn about, and take advantage of advancements in information technology, says Alibaba.com International Marketing Manager and iTmatters 2010 keynote speaker Ken Lu.
“There is no such thing as standing still, it is either moving forward or backwards, and progress requires innovation,” Mr Lu said.
“Small and medium-sized businesses have always run the risk of trying to keep up with large businesses, in many cases without the resources or the expertise to do so”
“Innovative online communications tools, like online marketing, are cost-effective and give a great return on investment, ideal for bridging small businesses into the marketplace, added Mr Lu.
The conference will offer a range of forums, showcases and seminars to those attending. Representatives from private and government enterprises will present keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops, providing attendants with new insight and information on leading business technology and innovations.
