‘A man is not a financial plan’ seminar for women

A seminar titled ‘A man is not a financial plan’ aims to teach women how to identify the keys to wealth creation and guide them towards financial independence in Sydney on Tuesday, 25 May 2010.

Financial Plan WomenThe evening seminar will provide women with the information they need to start their own financial plan, for themselves and for their families as well as empower them to be independent and financially savvy.

Financial Empowerment Coach Linda Coates is the presenter and is passionate about encouraging others, particularly women, to take a proactive approach to maintaining their wellbeing – financially, physically, mentally and spiritually.  She’s excited about bringing this groundbreaking financial education seminar to Sydney women.

“Women are earning more than ever and have purchased 55 per cent more property in the past decade than in the previous one. Yet compared to their male counterparts, they are really losing out on the long-term benefits of investing,” said Coates.

“Most women aged 24 to 40 do not have any kind of financial well-being roadmap even though more than 75 per cent of them will spend a decade or more living by themselves. So it’s imperative that women equip themselves with the knowledge and understanding of what they need to do to look after their own finances,” she added.

When:  Tuesday, 25 May 2010 – 6 pm for 6:30 pm start, finishes at 9 pm with drinks and nibbles provided after the presentation.
Where: Macquarie Bank building, Level 3 auditorium, 1 Martin Place, Sydney
Cost:    $49 for one ticket or $75 for two tickets

In a move that is common for business events targeting women and networkers, Omniwealth’s ‘A man is not a financial plan’ is offering to donate $10 from every ticket purchased to Dress for Success, a non profit organisation established to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
