Who can benefit?

Eligible businesses include those that:

  • Have 19 or fewer full-time equivalent employees (excluding the business owner).
  • Are registered in Australia, actively trading, and hold a valid ABN.

What does the service offer?

The program delivers comprehensive support aimed at building resilience and guiding businesses through recovery after a cyber incident. Key features of the service include:

  • Customized Cyber Security Plans: Experts work directly with business owners to create a plan tailored to their specific needs, risks, and capabilities.
  • Actionable Recommendations: The service identifies practical actions and tools suited to each business’s circumstances.
  • Recovery Assistance: Support is provided to help businesses navigate the recovery process, including step-by-step guidance on mitigating damage.
  • Case Management Support: Dedicated case managers offer assistance throughout the recovery journey, including mental health support to help business owners cope with the stress of cyber incidents.
  • Referrals to Additional Resources: Businesses are directed to other relevant support services when necessary.

You can get support by:

  • calling the Small Business Cyber Resilience Service helpline on 1800 595 170
  • submitting a request through the online form.

The helpline is available from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm AEST.
