Business owners can now find the government support and funding they need, following an update to the Federal Government’s online Grants and Assistance Finder tool. The improved tool allows business owners to search more easily for support and funding.
“The Grants & Assistance Finder is a tool to help business owners search for efficiently funding and support from the Australian Government, and state and territory governments,” said Senator Nick Sherry, Minister for Small Business. “Businesses can find grants and assistance for a range of issues, including climate change, emergencies and innovation.”
The update includes a new ‘open to apply’ function, which displays all grants open for application, giving business owners a more targeted search. Businesses can also ‘export’ their search results in a variety of formats to easily save their information.
The update has received positive feedback from business owners who value the increased efficiency.
Sherry said the updated tool would help business owners accurately find the support they need. “There are many programs and grants available to help develop new ideas and grow Australian businesses,” he said.
