A new online career section launched by SOC Exchange.com is enabling unemployed Australians to take control of their job prospects by creating their own job profile on the SOC Exchange Careers website.
For as little as $10 a year, Australians can create their own job website, post a unique job ad listing their skills and qualifications to attract the interest of potential employers.
SOC Exchange Founder Franco Lagudi believes it is a useful tool for job seekers, allowing them to create a page specifically for their career needs.
“It’s such an incredibly competitive job market today that any extra tool that people can use to get noticed has to be a positive and one which can take them one step closer to securing a job.”
The SOC Exchange.com career section offers job hunters the opportunity to load their resume for free. For $10 per year they can create a unique ‘me’ site with an exclusive URL, a photo, and their own job blog with RSS feeds and email address.
Lagudi believes it will not only benefit job seekers, but employers who can search for potential job candidates for free.
“With times as tight as they are, this represents an enormous saving for employers and companies who would otherwise spend large sums of money to search resumes on career sites or hire head hunters to assist them.”
