Acronis has today launched a new backup and recovery system for business than combines data deduplication, enhanced support for virtual environments and centralized management features.
The Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 delivers real benefits for small to medium businesses, as it is easy to install, use and manage.
One of the many features includes data deduplication, a technology which can cut storage requirements by up to 90 percent by eliminating backup copies of redundant data, which provides significant cost savings for businesses.
Dave Russell, research vice president, Gartner Inc. said the new software delivers what IT buyers are today demanding from their backup and recovery solutions, “ value that comes from greater efficiency, manageability, and scalability.”
Bill Taylor-Mountford, general manager of Acronis Australia and New Zealand, said: “Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 is introduced as a comprehensive, feature-rich enterprise-level solution but priced for SMBs… they can now take advantage of an enterprise-class service, an affordable price point and significant cost savings in an easy-to-use package.”
