Meeting and Events Australia (MEA) has announced Ita Buttrose AO, OBE as the Master of Ceremonies for its 2012 National Conference.
MEA CEO Linda Gaunt said the organisation is welcoming Buttrose on board and is looking forward to her hosting its annual conference.
“We are delighted to have such an iconic figure as MC at the MEA Conference in 2012.”
Buttrose is one of the leading multi-media performers in Australia and is well known for her involvement in the journalism and business industries.
The MEA National Conference encourages discussion on current and potential issues that affecting the meetings and events industry in Australia and around the globe.
MEA is currently planning the event, which will be its 25th Annual Meeting and Events Industry Conference.
“We are very excited for our members to attend the event and with preparations well under way it is shaping up to be an outstanding program.”
The conference will be held in Sydney from 22 – 24 April 2012.
