Harvey World Travel is experiencing increased interest from young entrepreneurs who are keen to run their own business and making their mark on the world.
Managing Director of Harvey World Travel, David Rivers, says the company is the strongest travel franchise brand in Australia, with a proven and effective structure to help new franchisees run their businesses smoothly, so its appeal to young entrepreneurs is very strong.
“We are proud of what we have achieved at HWT and the interest we are receiving from these young go-getters is encouraging,” said David.
“With the interest we have received, we hope to see more people following the footsteps of one of our youngest owners, Kimberley Day of HWT Belmont Central.”
In December 2008, after a lot of encouragement, support and assistance from her partner, friends, and family, Kimberley, at 28 years old, opened her own agency
With an extensive background in sales and customer service, Kimberley’s career in travel started in 2002, when she first joined Harvey World Travel as a junior consultant. She went on to become a top selling consultant and won a place as one of the top ten sellers in NSW for five years running.
“I believe success comes with passion and I am passionate about travel,” said Kimberley. “I always knew that one day I would own my own HWT franchise.
Although travel is always facing external influences that affect the industry and business, Kimberley said the greatest benefit for her is the flexibility she has in managing her business and staff, in a way that keeps everyone motivated and happy.
“I enjoy helping my staff grow, passing on my knowledge and being able to reward them via the great incentive programs,” said Kimberley.
“Having my own franchise also means I can target niche markets that interest me, while helping my clients get to their dream destinations.
