Economic pressures lead businesses to seek online solutions

As local businesses face continued difficult economic times, an increasing number are seeking online solutions for managing their customer relationships and cashflow – a trend that’s seen software development and direct debit payment processing company Debitsuccess enjoy a 25 percent revenue jump.

Debitsuccess enjoyed the revenue jump in 2010/11 by expanding its client base into several new industries and reinforcing its position as a leader in providing software and membership payment collection services to the health and fitness industry.

CEO Andrew Simpson said the result is a continuation of the high level of growth the company has experienced since 2005, which has seen billing revenue increase by over 1200 percent.

“With the majority of consumers now managing their daily lives online, businesses are naturally shifting towards incorporating more completely web-based services as part of their business offering to align with those demands.”

Debitsuccess’ self-developed products include Clubware – a fitness club management software system used in over 500 clubs in Australasia – and the Online Management Gateway (OMG), which is utilised by businesses that require paperless membership processing.

Companies now using Debitsuccess include NRL clubs, education and training facilities, golf clubs, power companies and medical product suppliers.

CEO of the Goodlife Group Greg Oliver said a recently negotiated Management Agreement with Debitsuccess is a huge endorsement of its reliability and ability to meet their business KPIs in a highly competitive industry.

“The greatest benefit of Debitsuccess is that it helps us with customer retention. More of our members are using the web these days for managing their lives, and the OMG system gives them the flexibility to pay for memberships quickly and efficiently.”
