Educational institution General Assembly is hosting a free event which aims to bring together the very latest in startup events and meetups happening in Sydney.
‘Intro to the Sydney Startup community’ will be held at General Assembly’s campus in Surry Hills on Thursday 13th February. Further details here.
The event will provide the inside scoop on key events and meetups, companies, VCs, blogs, incubators, programs, hot issues, and more designed for startups. Additionally you’ll get an overview of the key players in the community including Pushstart, Startmate, Fishburners, Blue Chilli, Innovation Bay, Silicon Beach, Sydney Angels, Syd Start, ATP and others.
Additionally, General Assembly is currently running a competition for tech minded startups and entrepreneurs. One lucky winner (along with 3 friends) will win a trip to attend the festival-that-cannot-be-named in Austin, Texas this March.
The winner will rub elbows with entrepreneurs and influencers, grab coffee with industry experts, and attend exclusive parties and events. Flights, housing, and transportation are paid for by General Assembly.
