Driving with an iPhone just got a whole lot safer, thanks to a group of entrepreneurs who designed and developed the iTraffic Australia, a new driver awareness application alerting drivers to school zones and speed cameras.
The iTraffic application provides subtle audio reminders – as opposed to distracting visuals – for the driver alerting them to school zones, speed cameras and traffic delays.
The concept for iTraffic Australia developed at the Sydney Startup Camp, where participants devoted a weekend to building a business from initial conception, software or website creation, marketing, launching and pitching to venture capitalists.
The team behind the iTraffic have since formed AppOvation to market the iTraffic Application to Australia.
