The Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce (CACC) has recently announced a new service, CanAus Connections, helping Australian and Canadian business representatives connect with the business communities of other country.
Central to this service is a partnership with Air Canada, the only airline offering a non-stop service between Australia and Canada. Travellers with a business program in either country can contact the CACC for significant discounts on Air Canada’s lowest advertised fares.
The partnership has been developed to encourage the establishment of face-to-face business relations between Canadian and Australian businesses, and support the chamber’s mission to increase the level of trade and investment between Australia and Canada.
“Our goal is to bring the business communities of both countries closer,” said Doug Carmichael, President of the CACC.
According to Mr Carmichael, CanAus Connections helps businesses “explore the numerous untapped opportunities available across the Pacific.”
The ACCOR group and Europcar have also joined in the partnership, offering discounted accommodation rates to business travellers between both counties, and discounts on car rentals.
