An Australian company has launched online business training as an alternative for time-poor professionals who want to have up-to-date skills without leaving the office.
CPDlive.com recently launched their online training, taking advantage of the advent of web 2.0 internet based technology.
The training aims to reduce business costs, both in terms of travel time to and from a training destination and the expenses such a trip would incur upon a business.
By simply connecting to live sessions through your home, office or training room computer, users are able to engage with the chosen presenter. Not only does the system lessen the cost to business, but allows for more individuals to access these meetings which are no longer restricted by physical space.
"We first thought of using the internet to overcome logistical problems of providing live training to local councils around the country, many of which are very remote" said Anthony Morris, Director and Co-founder of CDPlive.com
