Approximately one quarter of Australian golfers use the game as a networking tool, according to a new survey.
The March 2007 Consumer Report, published by Sensis, shows Western Australians are the most likely to play golf with their business contacts at 38 percent, with Tasmanian golfers the least likely to take up this option (14 percent).
"Queensland is the home of high-value golf, with around half the business contacts acquired on the golf course in Queensland valued at more than $500,000," says Christina Singh, author of the report.
