Australian gelato franchise, Trampoline Gelato, has made its way up north with the opening of not one, but two new stores in Darwin.
Located at the newly developed Waterfront Precinct and freshly revitalized Knuckey Street, Trampoline Gelato CEO Amanda Walton said she was proud to be bringing Trampoline to Darwin.
“We are thrilled to be in Darwin where our gelato is especially suited to the climate. With so much development taking place at the moment – particularly at the Waterfront – it’s a really exciting time for the brand to jump on board.”
Famous for their award winning gelato, Trampoline’s venture into Darwin’s sunnier climes follows the opening of their first interstate store at Queensland’s Indooroopilly late last year. Trampoline have eight stores across Melbourne since first opening on Fitzroy’s trendy Brunswick Street six years ago.
To celebrate their launch into the Territory, Trampoline has also released a special new Darwin inspired flavour, the aptly named ‘Croc Mint,’ comprising of a smooth Belgian couverture choc mint base with mint crisps lurking above and below the surface.
Released across their full network of 11 stores, Trampoline has also pledged to donate 5c for every Midi cup of the flavour sold before July 31, to the Indigenous Literacy Project. A partnership between The Australian Book Industry and The Fred Hollows Foundation, The Indigenous Literacy Project supplies suitable age appropriate books and reading materials to remote communities.
Trampoline now have 11 stores located at Camberwell, Chadstone, Doncaster, Fitzroy, Knox Ozone, Malvern, Southgate, St Kilda in Victoria, Darwin Central, Darwin Waterfront in the Northern Territory and Indooroopilly in Queensland.
