Yellowglen unveils Melbourne Cup iPhone app

Yellowglen releases Melbourne cup iPhone app
First there was the Melbourne Cup Carnival iPhone app released by Victoria Racing Club providing punters with news and information about races, now there is the Yellowglen iPhone app designed to help cup goers locate each other on the day.
The iPhone app, created by Sydney digital production company The Project Factory, with the support of Mediacom is called WHERERU and helps iPhone users locate friends wherever they are on the Flemington racetrack.
The app links to Facebook accounts and uses GPS and Google maps to help Facebook friends meet up and plan the perfect meeting point.  It also contains specially-created maps of the racetrack facilities including bars, toilets and help point.
The application is free and can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes store.
