An $11.7 million Morrison government program will give small businesses practical advice to help lower energy costs and find the best energy deal.
Small businesses will get a helping hand in navigating the energy market and lowering their energy costs under an $11.7 million Morrison government program.
The Business Energy Advice Program offers personalised energy advice and resources for small businesses to get a fairer deal on energy prices and will be launched by Energy Minister Angus Taylor in Sydney on Monday.
The new tool will help businesses find the best available energy plan, make practical changes to equipment and usage to improve energy efficiency and will give them access to energy savings grants.
“We know that people who shop around get a better deal. This program will help Australian businesses get a fairer deal on energy,” Mr Taylor said in a statement.
The NSW Business Chamber will help deliver one-on-one energy consultations for businesses with six to 20 employees across the country.
