Jaycar Electronics expands this week with the launch of its latest store in New Lynn, Auckland; its 11th store across New Zealand.
Jaycar opened its first store in 1981, and from there has opened over 65 stores across Australia and New Zealand, with an additional 140 authorised stockists. Jaycar’s new Auckland store will first open its doors today and will employ a total of four staff from the local area.
The large sized open plan store has been completely fitted with easy to find stock and interactive displays to reflect the distinctive Jaycar Electronics brand. It will be open seven days a week featuring plenty of parking for customers as well as offering disabled access to the store.
New Lynn’s Store Manager John Whitmore said, “Due to the great success we received in Auckland our additional presence in the area is a major development in meeting the market demand for and interest in electronic gadgetry.”
A huge range of products are available at Jaycar Electronics, including quirky gadgets, electronic components, car and home audio, power products, automotive accessories as well as alternative energy, security, computer and outdoor products.
