Gift and Homewares Australia have sold out all possible floorspace for exhibitors for Sydney’s biggest Home and Giving Fair, taking place at Sydney Showground on 19-22 February 2011.
George Lancaster, GHA’s Marketing Manager, said the strong interest already shown indicates an overall sense of optimism amongst suppliers and retailers.
“Selling out of floor space is a sign that exhibitors are doing well and suppliers are optimistic about the future, which bodes well for the industry as a whole,” said Mr Lancaster.
“There are going to be thousands and thousands of the latest gift and homewares products on offer,” he said.
Offering an ideal setting for buyers to stock up on the latest products for the entire year, the fair will also boast other exciting new features and will appeal to anyone involved in the industry.
For visitors keen to gain new knowledge to help their business, GHA members AUSVM and Cre8 Biz will be holding practical seminars to arm participants with relevant industry expertise. AusVM, a business at the forefront of retail display and visual merchandising solutions, will offer attendees tips and tricks for effective visual merchandising, especially important for retailers wanting to refresh their displays in line with new seasons and trends. Cre8 Biz, a dynamic business specialising in developing ideas into fully fledged businesses, will provide expert advice on how visitors can grow their business idea to be even more successful.
The February Home & Giving Fair will also offer free parking spaces to the first 600 people, seminars aimed at developing and promoting small businesses, and the Oasis Club, where VIPs can relax, recharge and network throughout the day.
