Job ads rise 33.2% – competition for labour at post-GFC high
Job ads rose for the seventh consecutive month in November and are now 33.2 percent higher than the same time last year, with competition for skilled labour now becoming a serious issue for Australian businesses.

Job ads in Australia are up 36.1 percent in the year to August, with the latest ANZ Job Advertisements Series data showing the total number of jobs advertised up to an average of 176,239 per week (seasonally adjusted).
June job ads higher in ANZ Job advertisements series
Job ads grew by 2.7 percent in June, following an increase of 2.7 percent in May according to the latest data in the ANZ Job Advertisements Series.
