Jump On It has taken out the 2011 Online Retail Group Buying category at the AMBER Awards, beating its biggest daily deals rivals Scoopon and Spreets.
The AMBER Awards are Australia and New Zealand’s leading annual online services awards, with winners decided based on an independent judging process that looks at market share, customer service survey results and customer usability testing.
“We are thrilled to be recognised as number one in the group buying category for Australia and New Zealand, especially as the award recognises not only our significant share of the market but our outstanding customer service and the easy usability of the site,” Jump On It Co-Founder and CEO Colin Fabig said.
The AMBER Awards are the sister awards to the long-running AIMIA Awards or ‘Amys’ which are presented each year by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association.
In its third year, the 2011 AMBER awards has recognised excellence in the eServices sector and highlighted ANZ leaders in mainstream consumer services.
