Follow the US President and leading movers and shakers on LinkedIn with the network’s newly launched feature.
Professional social network, LinkedIn has announced a new feature that allows users to follow influential thought leaders including the likes of Richard Branson and President Barack Obama.
While users have been able to follow groups and companies for some time now, LinkedIn members could not receive updates from individuals without their approval.
In an effort to provide users with more interesting content, LinkedIn is now allowing users to follow 150 of the most prominent and influential members who will pass on their unique knowledge and professional insights to subscribers.
The list spans both globally-recognised thought leaders from numerous fields such as, Naomi Simson, Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, Guy Kawasaki, Arianna Huffington, Reid Hoffman and many more.
According to a blog post, LinkedIn says they will continue to expand the list of influencers over the next few months where they will look at both universally-recognised thought leaders and industry-specific ‘movers and shakers’.
Members who follow these thought leaders can expect to stay informed through their status updates, long-form and original posts, videos, photos and slideshow presentations.
Users will also be able to engage directly in professional conversations with influencers where they can comment on their posts and share them with networks.
You can now view the full list of influencers which members can start following from today.
