IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn said he believes the global economy will recover in the first half of next year.
In a news conference in the Austria over the weekend, Strauss-Kahn predicted we will see a recovery in the “first semester of 2010, and the beginning of the turning point in October, November or December this year.”
He said the recovery will depend on the banking sector, and that there will be no upturn if the bank’s balance sheets aren’t fixed.
