Anytime Fitness has now sold 300 franchises territories in the three years since launching in Australia, and local master franchisees Justin McDonell and Jacinta McDonell-Jimenez don’t expect growth to slow any time soon.
According to McDonell-Jimenez interest in the clubs is continually growing because of the range of benefits for members and owners, which has led some franchisees owning up as many as nine clubs.
“Our clubs offer the members what they need – great equipment, personal attention, and convenient and affordable facilities, open anytime,” she said.
The fitness franchise has attracted over 100,000 members in Australia to date, and this is expected to grow further thanks to continued franchise expansion.
“We are currently opening about eight to ten clubs each month. So, it won’t be long before we have over 300 clubs open in Australia,” says McDonell.
McDonell believes the franchise could open another 50-100 clubs, on top of the 300 territories already sold.
Anytime Fitness ranked number 11 on Entrepreneur’s prestigious ‘Franchise 500’ list in 2011.
