The Motorola Xoom tablet has had its price slashed in the lead up to Christmas, making now the ideal time for business owners to invest in the technology.
The Xoom Wi-Fi now costs $399, delivering a saving of 39 percent. It features a dual core processor, 1GB ram, up to 64GB storage, front and rear- facing cameras, multi-tasking functionality and Android 3.1 software on a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display.
An optional free update to the Android software includes Quickoffice pro HD, enabling you to manage, edit and print Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents on the tablet.
The device allows users to surf the web, download emails, watch videos and movies, play music, and read magazines and book via its e-reader. A range of smart docks also allows it to be hooked up to your HD TV to watch movies or browse online.
The Motorola Xoom will be available for $399 now, from JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Costco.
Users will then need to sign-up to a data plan from a telecommunications provider of their choice.
